Business Developement Director

 

The Business Development Director is responsible for successfully driving new business growth for CreativeDrive across a specific location or region by generating new business opportunities for our global network of companies. This person is a results-oriented go-getter with a “hunter” mentality and will be in-charge of prospecting, selling and developing key relationships with large clients, resulting in measurable, increased business growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the end to end process of new business development by Identifying, assessing and developing new business prospects for a specific location or region.
  • Following the company’s overall new business strategy, generate leads through cold-calling, innovative networking strategies and other initiatives
  • Conduct research to identify new market and client business opportunities
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with potential clients through a consultative based sales approach, gaining understanding of client needs and how to best serve them
  • Identify industry trends and opportunities by conducting research on industry and related events, publications, and announcements
  • Play a key role in new business pitches; strategy, planning and execution  
  • Meet pre-established sales targets and goals set for the company

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Business Development experience working within Marketing, Media Production or Creative industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
  • Proven track record in winning new business; negotiating, pitching and closing large business deals
  • Excellent industry knowledge with a passion for the marketing, media production and related industries while constantly staying in-tune with industry trends and current events
  • Confident communicator and presenter with the ability to work with professionals at all levels of an origination
  • Ability to travel for sales related activities such as: networking events, presentations, client meetings and industry events.
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce.com, Keynote and other applicable software packages
