Creative Director

 

The Creative Director directs and maintains the standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability of a project, while achieving the clients’ goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
  • Develop creative programs and design concepts that include brand strategies in order to meet the business objectives of the organization and clients.
  • Establish creative direction for design projects or programs.
  • Supervise and inspire the creative team and generate multiple concepts for a campaign or project.
  • Work with the account team, design team, and copywriters to develop concepts and be able to present to client.
  • Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals.
  • Work in Keynote for client presentations.
  • Manage team members and outside resources.
  • Provide quality control over concepts and projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a creative management position leading primarily print design and photography in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography; ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers.
  • A strong working knowledge of design, brand development and creative process.
  • Understanding of print and web design capabilities; knowledge of both media for integrated campaigns.
  • Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Passion, Integrity and Energy!
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both vocally and in writing.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
