Digital Account Manager

 

The Digital Account Manager initiates, maintains and manages Client’s projects on an ongoing and project basis. This position directs and coordinates the day-to-day efforts on assigned accounts, and produces a variety of projects for the company. Digital experience is required.  Retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop workable budgets, work plans and realistic timetables.
  • Collaborate with the client on preparation of marketing recommendations, strategies and actions for the client.
  • Review, analyze and evaluate the following, relative to the client’s needs and objectives: all assigned creative projects, internal agency projects and assigned new business projects.
  • Defining project scope, estimate and writing scope of works and technical specifications, create project specifications and time plans.
  • Determine project risk on an ongoing basis, escalate issues as needed.
  • Evaluate best team makeup for assigned projects.
  • Monitor out of scope requests, initiate additional estimates and approvals.
  • Monitor all budget and production activity on assigned projects and communicate status of each project to appropriate Company and Client personnel in order to meet project deadlines.
  • Act as the team leader on all assigned projects.
  • Maintain communications with internal teams and appropriate client personnel to ensure positive workflow, escalating exceptions and issues to director level as required.
  • Keep project status reports up to date.
  • Monitor and enforce project constraints (schedule / scope / resources).
  • Champion internal systems for increased productivity.
  • Drive projects to final stages of completion by keeping the team both on track and highly motivated.
  • Manage assigned projects, be involved with client projects from start to finish, ensure successful project completion against deadlines.
  • Provide and maintain projects status – liaise with development teams, designers and commercial staff to provide accurate updates of project statuses.
  • Project quality assurance – test and review output, review outputted deliverables against scope.
  • Asset Management, source through final delivery.
  • Initiate and lead all appropriate project meetings.
  • Monitor all internal and external costs for assigned projects.
  • Manage vendors and talent on assigned projects – create purchase orders, monitor actual vs. budgeted costs.
  • Manage internal projects and assist in preparing materials for creative presentations and meetings.
  • Work to insure proper billing and invoicing is done at the end of each project.
  • Review WIPs and final billing reports.
  • Proper and innovative execution of work in all areas on schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Photography, Marketing, Advertising, Digital or Broadcast produc
  • Minimum of 3 years as an account manager in a creative agency or production environment
  • Interest in and aptitude for producing creative and marketing solutions
  • Knowledge of web application design and build
  • Experience in integrated marketing preferred
  • Well-versed in executing campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Exceptional project management abilities
  • Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge
  • Experience working with clients to develop and negotiate project scopes and budgets
  • Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong business and personal ethics.
